Experienced special education teacher with a passion for helping students with learning challenges reach their fullest potential. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to providing individualized instruction and support to students with diverse needs, including those with autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, ADHD, and intellectual disorders. My goal is to foster academic success and personal growth by tailoring educational strategies to meet the unique strengths and challenges of each student.

My Services

• Early Intervention Programs: Implementing early intervention strategies to support children in developing skills for activities of daily living (ADL), functional academics, sensory integration, and behaviour management.
• Collaboration and Coordination: Working closely with psychologists, therapists, support staff, and parents to create comprehensive plans and ensure cohesive support for students.
• Life Skills Development: Designing and implementing life skills management programs focused on fostering skills such as self-awareness, appreciating others, and adaptive behaviour.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Conducting thorough assessments of adaptive behaviour, educational progress, personality, and functional abilities to inform intervention plans and track student growth.
• Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC): Utilizing AAC methods and strategies to support students with communication challenges in accessing the curriculum and expressing themselves effectively.
• Assistive Technology Integration: Leveraging assistive technology tools and software to enhance learning experiences and facilitate access to educational materials for students with diverse learning needs.
• IEP Planning and Implementation: Creating and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) and accommodations to support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
• Parental Guidance and Support: Providing guidance and support to parents, equipping them with strategies and resources to facilitate their child’s learning and development.
